A renovation of 4 existing two-storey houses and the design of their surrounding area for their conversion into holiday houses. The aim was the aesthetic upgrade of the existing buildings through a modern approach based on simple lines and masses. The harmonization of the buildings with their natural environment was a driving force for the development of the composition and the selection of materials. The existing buildings are developed on two levels. In the same way, the surrounding space is divided into two main levels which give access to the ground and first floor respectively. The entrance to the complex is from the west side of the plot. The residence, located in the northern part of the plot, has a second independent entrance from the north side and a private parking space. Each residence is self-contained with an independent entrance from the first floor level. In the case of the northern residence, there is a second entrance from the ground floor level. Each residence has a private outdoor living area accessible from the ground floor. The northern residence has the largest outdoor area which includes a private swimming pool and barbecue area. The remaining three residences each have a private jacuzzi and access to a shared swimming pool located on the southern part of the plot. The outdoor spaces were designed to ensure the privacy of the tenants. The large openings of the facades provide sufficient lighting and remove the boundary between the inside and outside. A vital element of the houses are the outdoor spaces of different uses, since the accommodation will be used in the summer season when human activity takes place mainly outside.
